自成立以来，浙江工商大学国际商学院致力于营造良好的学术氛围，推进学术活动常态化，定期安排内部研讨会，邀请校内外专家指导。在科研上秉持着对标国际，孵化标志性高水平科研成果的原则。
疫情当前，我院教师化危机为机遇，潜心完成科研任务，通过不懈努力，2020年1月至9月，国际商学院教师以第一作者或通讯作者身份，共计发表SSCI论文7篇，接收SSCI论文8篇，其中邵辉、罗玲利的论文已分别被管理学科的顶级国际期刊Operations Research、Journal of Business Venturing所接收，为重大科研突破。
此外，在项目基金申请上我院教师也取得了一定进展。我院尹晓玲老师获批国家自然科学基金项目1项；我院马龙老师荣获浙江省哲学社会科学基金项目资助1项。
